Placement of Orders:

Sales Terms

  • Orders may be placed by: Phone, Fax, e-mail, or web site.
  • Orders will be shipped within 2 to 5 working days, depending on stock or unless notified otherwise.
  • School and government bids welcome. Hard copy purchase order required.
  • Sales Tax

  • For all orders within California applicable sales tax will be charged unless a proper signed resale card is on file.
  • Payment Terms

  • Terms of sale: C.O.D. - Carrier imposed C.O.D. fees will be passed on to the customer in addition to normal shipping charges.
  • Open accounts: Net terms or company check, available pending approval of a completed and signed NACCO credit application.
  • Returned check fee: $25.00
  • Late payments will be charged interest at the rate of 1 1/2%/ month.
  • MasterCard and Visa orders will only be accepted from persons who are authorized by the cardholder to place such orders.
  • No shipments will be made on any past due accounts.
  • If a delinquent account is sent to collections, the customer will be responsible for all collection charges.
  • Shipping:

  • All shipping, billing and pricing errors must be reported within 7 days of receipt of shipment.
  • All orders shipped F.O.B. Gardena, California.
  • If your order does not qualify for prepaid freight, freight and insurance costs are calculated and added to invoice total.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Customer is responsible for all freight charges for unaccepted or refused delivery of shipments.
  • Refused shipments will incur a 20% restock fee.

    Prepaid Freight

  • NACCO will pay ground freight on orders totaling over $500 per order for product shipped to one location in the contiguous 48 states. If original order exceeded $500, one shipment of backordered product will qualify for prepaid freight. Backorder shipments beyond the first backorder release will be subject to normal shipping and handling policies. Carrier imposed C.O.D. fees will be passed on to the customer.
  • Shipping for Backorders

  • Before backordered items are shipped, a representative will call for release authorization.
  • Backordered items are shipped at prices in effect when the item was ordered.
  • Backorders associated with orders shipped on the $500.00 prepaid freight program, one shipment of backordered product will qualify for prepaid freight. Backorder shipments beyond the first backorder release will be subject to normal shipping and handling policies. Carrier imposed C.O.D. fees will be passed on to the customer.
  • Damage:

  • Damages are the responsibility of the carrier once the shipment is released from NACCO. After shipment is released to carrier, any damages must be noted on the Bill of Lading with the carrier and reported to NACCO within seven days from receipt of shipment. All claims must be filed by NACCO directly with the freight carrier.
  • You must save all boxes and packing materials for damage inspection by carrier.
  • Return Policy:

  • A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained from NACCO prior to the return of any merchandise. Product returned without an RMA number will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense.
  • RMA numbers are valid for a period of 30 days only.
  • All returns must be shipped freight prepaid with the RMA number displayed on the outside of the shipping box along with the number of boxes shipped back (i.e. 1 of 6, 2 of 6).
  • Returns will be credited at the price paid on invoice less any re-stock fee.
  • Defective returns are eligible for return only within 180 days from NACCO invoice date.
  • A copy of the NACCO invoice receipt must be included with all returns.
  • Items showing signs of co-mingling or misuse due consumer abuse will not be accepted for credit.
  • Products must be returned in re-sellable condition. All returned products are subject to a 20% restocking fee or will be returned at NACCO's discretion.
  • Please allow 10 business days for processing returns.
  • Non-defective product may be returned if not 100% satisfied at NACCO's discretion less shipping and handling fees.
  • Sale of close-out items are final. Only defective closeout items may be returned for credit as per normal NACCO policies.
  • Products specially designed or formulated for customer is not eligible for return once approval has been received.
